Operation Mercy Relief Street Ministry
About the Ministry:
Operation Mercy Relief Street Ministry is a collaborative effort between the Catholic Parish of Holy Name of Jesus, North Bay & St. Alphonsus Liguori, Callander, and Sacred Way Ministries.
Guided by Christ’s call to serve, we provide a warm meal, beverage, heartfelt prayer, and companionship to those in need within our community. Thanks to the generosity of a donor, we are blessed to operate from a fully permitted and insured food trailer.
We are currently operating on Saturdays, with the exception of the third Saturday of the month (as we provide a hot meal in the Parish Hall at Holy Name of Jesus every third Saturday of the month). -

Want to Volunteer?
Volunteer Roles and Teams:
Volunteers are divided into three teams:- Food Preparation: Start Saturday at 8:30 AM at Holy Name of Jesus Church to prepare and package meals & beverages.
- Food Service: Starts Saturday at 9:00 AM at the food trailer in various locations in our city.
- Prayer and Companionship: While our guests enjoy their meal, offer conversation, prayer, and a listening ear to share Christ’s love and comfort.
