All are invited to tour St. Alphonsus Liguori Church in Callander, Ontario, explore historical exhibits and enjoy light refreshments during an Open House on Sunday, October 14 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
This year, St. Alphonsus celebrates 125 years of serving the Catholic community of Callander and beyond. On December 10, 1893, the church was consecrated by Bishop O’Connor, and although it was rebuilt in 1913 after a wind storm knocked it down, the church still stands in its original location.
