Solemnity of St. Joseph March 19 commemorates the feast of St. Joseph, the foster father of Christ and husband of the Blessed Virgin Mary. St. Joseph was of the lineage of David, the greatest king of Israel. He was given the duty of protecting the Holy Family and helping to raise Jesus.
This year 2021, has also been proclaimed the Year of St. Joseph by Pope Francis. During the Year of St. Joseph, there are also many parishioners participating in a Consecration to St. Joseph. We will commemorate this feast day by celebrating a special Mass: Solemnity of St. Joseph Friday, March 19 at 7:00pm at Holy Name of Jesus (also LIVE on YouTube!) (incense to be used during this Mass) (there will not be a 9am Mass this day)
