LETTER OF CONDOLENCE SENT TO OUR CALLANDER NEIGHBOURS This past week, Fr. Daniele sent a letter of condolence to St. Peter's Anglican Church in Callander as they are mourning the sudden loss of their minister, Joan Morris. Please keep our neighbours in your prayers.
Dear Archbishop Germond, On behalf of our Catholic community of St. Alphonsus Liguori Church in Callander, Ontario, I wish to express our sincere sorrow and condolences for the unexpected passing of our neighbour, the Rev. Joan Morris. While the buildings of St. Peter’s Anglican and St. Alphonsus Catholic churches share the same street, we also share the same mission – to worship and glorify our Lord Jesus Christ. Reverend Joan helped contribute to that shared mission through her joyful personality and welcoming spirit to myself, the people of St. Alphonsus Liguori Church and the residents of Callander. We share in your grief during this time and offer our prayers to you, the clergy of your diocese, and especially the family of Reverend Joan and the congregation at St. Peter’s Church in Callander and the other churches that make up the Trillium Anglican Parish. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen.
In Christ, Fr. Daniele Muscolino Pastor, Holy Name of Jesus, North Bay & St. Alphonsus Liguori, Callander
