The Sacrament of the Sick will now be available during the 9:00am Mass on the first Friday of the month at Holy Name of Jesus Church. During Mass, those who wish to be anointed will be individually anointed with the Oil of the Sick on the forehead and on the palms of the hands.
The Sacrament of the Sick is available who anyone experiencing physical, emotional, mental or spiritual illness. The Sacrament is not only for those close to death!
The Sacrament unites the sick person to Jesus, to bring strength, peace and courage to endure in a Christ-like way the suffering that illness brings.
The Sacrament of the Sick will be offered on Friday, October 5 at the 9:00am Mass at Holy Name of Jesus Church, and every first Friday of the month from this point forward.
