Bishop updates Mask Policy for churches

March 25, 2022After consultation with the Assembly of Catholic Bishops of Ontario (ACBO), the Diocese is moving forward with the decision that masks will no longer be mandatory in churches as of Monday, March 21st, 2022.
We understand that some people may wish to continue to wear their mask. We invite all those who wish to do so to feel free to continue to wear their mask. You will notice that in some circumstances the wearing of the mask remains mandatory (such as a priest and penitent in confession, when a priest/deacon distributes the Eucharist).
We ask all parishioners to be courteous and patient with each other as we adjust to these changes.
