The person who consecrates himself to St. Joseph wants to be as close to their spiritual father as possible, to the point of resembling him in virtue and holiness. Saint Joseph, in turn, will give those consecrated to him his undivided attention, protection, and guidance.
Due to the extension of the Province-wide lockdown, our Confirmation Preparation Program has been postponed and will resume when we are able to. Registration remains open.
The Ontario Government has announced that the Province-wide lockdown will be extended in Northern Ontario for another 14 days. This means that our buildings and parish office will continue to be closed to the public.
Christmas is a chance for us to renew community, and this spirit of mutual communion is one of the great gifts Jesus gave to the world over 2000 years ago. Let’s open that gift, and our hearts!

Thanks to the generosity of our parishioners, both Holy Name of Jesus Church and St. Alphonsus Liguori Church will be beautifully decorated this Christmas in honour of our loved ones.
In order to offset the cost of flowers to decorate the Sanctuaries for Christmastime, we are asking you to make a small donation in memory of a loved one who has passed away.
Our parish community relies solely on the generosity of our parishioners who donate to our parish. From our donations, we are able to responsibly meet the needs of our spiritual and temporal affairs.
This past week, Fr. Daniele sent a letter of condolence to St. Peter's Anglican Church in Callander as they are mourning the sudden loss of their minister, Joan Morris. Please keep our neighbours in your prayers.
