Our preparation program for those wishing to explore the possibility of becoming Catholic begins on November 22!

Installed during the renovation of the church in 1976, the large (heavy) speakers mounted above the Sanctuary of the church, were removed as part of our technical upgrades in the church.

Over the past two weekends, our young people celebrated their First Communion after having been cancelled last Spring.

This morning, at the Vatican, the Holy Father Pope Francis named the 7th Bishop of the Diocese of Sault Ste. Marie.

ALL students in Grade 6, 7 & 8 from any school or church are welcome to join our EDGE Youth Nights starting Thursday, October 22 from 6:30pm - 8:00pm at Holy Name of Jesus Church (and continuing every Thursday night after). 

St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church (299 Airport Road) is inviting applications for the position of Parish Secretary.

Beginning NEXT SUNDAY, October 18, Mass will also be celebrated on Sundays at 4:00pm at Holy Name of Jesus - on top of our regular Mass Schedule.  

Join us to for an hour of prayer with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament - every Tuesday at 7:30pm

For every $10.00 donation (ex. a $50 donation gets you 5 chances!) you make to the church to help us cover the cost of this project, you could take home a beautiful handmade quilt!

Beginning Wednesday, October 28, for seven consecutive Wednesdays until December 9 - you are invited to a virtual workshop to help parishioners identify their spiritual gifts. 

This weekend, on Thanksgiving Weekend, we ask you to come with non-perishable food items for the needy in our community.

The Annual Life Chain will take place on Sunday, October 4 along Lakeshore Drive from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm.
